Mark Kirkpatrick: Evolution of the genome by natural and sexual selection

Mark is one of the most relevant figures within evolutionary biology and a very good communicator. He uses both population genetics theory and statistics to learn about how life evolves. Themes of special interest include the study of genome evolution and why are chromosomes so evolutionarily dynamic, the origin and evolution of sex chromosomes, sexual selection and speciation, and the evolution of species ranges.
