Dr. Sònia Casillas is associate professor at the Department of Genetics and Microbiology and the Institute of Biotechnology and Biomedicine at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She has over 20 years of experience in the analysis, representation and interpretation of genetic diversity. Her career is based on four cornerstones: research, transfer of knowledge, teaching and popularization of science.
